In May 2022, Carnival Vista began to experience propulsion issues which affected its maximum speed, similar to the incident in June 2019. Because of this some itineraries were altered while underway. No official announcement has been made by Carnival Cruise Line as of May 19, 2022. The company's brand ambassador John Heald made a statement that technicians would meet the ship in Galveston to fix the propulsion system.[26] As of June 2022, no further problems have been reported.

The biggest difference is the Sky Zone trampoline park, which can only be found on Carnival Panorama. The ship sails on two to five-night and six to nine-night cruises from Miami, Florida, to the Bahamas. During my recent sailing, I found all the Carnival classics, like the Alchemy Bar and Guy’s Burger Joint, a thrilling ropes course, dive-in movies, and plenty of themed deck parties. Rent cabanas or lounge in the ocean-view whirlpools at Loft 19, where attentive staff take care of everything, like delivering you fruit and chilled towels. My favorite spot to hang out was the aft Patio Pool because it wasn't ever super crowded, and the view of the ocean was unmatched.
Outside of deck 5 is a hidden gem
Don't miss the Venetian Toast, where the ship’s captain greets guests and crew don Venetian masks. Do a little bar hop and see what different drinks are offered. Carnival cruise ships do NOT have conditioner in the stateroom bathrooms. The showers do have shampoo and shower gel dispensers but not conditioner.

When you compare the total tonnage of the ship to the number of passengers, the Vista has a space ratio of 33. Depending on the ship, this number can range from 30 to 52 (with a bigger number meaning more space per person) so this ship has less space per person than average. Coming in at 1,055 ft long and 122 ft wide, it's roughly the length of 2.9 football fields, as wide as 2.3 tractor trailers, and the same height as a 15-story building. The Carnival Vista was the first cruise ship to have a working brewery on board. Ah, imagine a perfect day out on the links, the golfer's zen of the ball, the hole and nothing in between but well-manicured fairway... Whoever it was, they had one thing in mind — maximum fun for mini-golfers, big and small!
Check your Fun Times or the Carnival Hub app for the brewery tour dates and times if this is of interest to you. You can access it from inside the pub or from the outside of deck 5. Therefore, if you want to get off early but don’t want to carry off your own luggage, you will need a lower numbered tag. Then, as night falls, you can come back together for a special meal in the main dining room or JiJi Asian Kitchen, which specializes in regional Asian cuisine. Carnival Sunrise (formerly Carnival Triumph) features an exciting splash zone for kids and a piano bar where adults can sing along to their favorite songs all night.

Wearing white is optional and you can still attend even if you aren’t wearing a white outfit. But if you and your family members have a white outfit then bring that along on your upcoming cruise vacation.
